Awesome. Pack that sucker real well so there are no shipping issues.
I wonder who wanted the projector and how they will be using it. Perhaps it's for public screenings. Did you "chat" with the winner?

I have the box and all the packing it came to me in. I think there's enough for 4 layers of thick bubble wrap. Its definitely going UPS with full insurance.
Haven't heard back from the winner yet but he/she seems to be into watching films based on prior auction wins.

The e-bay seller who I know has a shipping department and ships several packages daily. He is a firm believer in a couple of layers of bubble wrap around the object, placing the item inside of a box with a layer of styrofoam pellets , boxing it up, then placing that box inside of another box with styrofoam pellets placed around the outside of the box.
Of course, if your box becomes too big, you get hit with a dimensional size charge that can be anywhere from twice to 5 or 6 times the normal shipping cost associated with a normal shipping box.
If they are in your area, have them pick it up, or for that amount of money, driving it might be an option if they happen to be in your state.
